Your first step
Deciding to ask for help can be the hardest part. Our initial conversation is a chance for me to understand your situation, for you to ask questions and for us both to consider whether my approach is suitable.
You do not need to be especially good at relaxing or switching off. I will explain the process as we go.
Before your session
You will discuss what you would like help with, how it affects you, what you have tried and what you hope to achieve.
During your session
I will explain the process and guide you at your own pace. You remain in control throughout.
After your session
You can talk about what you noticed and, where useful, discuss techniques to practise between appointments.
How many sessions will I need?
There is no universal answer. A focused concern may need a small number of sessions, while other goals may benefit from longer support.
I will explain the options once I understand your circumstances and review progress with you rather than asking you to commit unnecessarily. I will publish exact session structures when confirmed.
